03 / Projects in the Transportation Sector
MEP designs for complex infrastructure
DSSR has been involved in the design and engineering of the Greenock cruise terminal, located on the west coast of Scotland. The project involved the conversion of an existing terminal building into a modern, state-of-the-art facility capable of accommodating larger cruise ships. DSSR was responsible for the MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) design, including the installation of new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, lighting, power, and communications infrastructure. The project was also designed with sustainability in mind, incorporating energy-efficient systems and renewable energy sources to help reduce the terminal’s carbon footprint.
Overall, DSSR’s involvement in the Greenock cruise terminal project highlights our expertise in delivering high-quality MEP solutions for complex infrastructure projects in the transportation sector.
04 / MEP Consultancy for Car parks
Car park infrastructures
DSSR has great experience in providing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design solutions for car park infrastructures. The company understands that car parks have unique requirements that must be taken into account when designing MEP systems. This includes providing efficient lighting, ventilation, and smoke control systems, as well as reliable fire detection and suppression systems. DSSR also places a strong emphasis on energy efficiency, ensuring that car parks are equipped with the latest technologies to reduce energy consumption and lower carbon emissions.
With its expertise in MEP design, DSSR has delivered high-quality and sustainable car park solutions for a variety of clients, ranging from public parking facilities to commercial and residential developments.
05 / Aviation Industry
Experience in operational airports
DSSR has provided MEP design services for a number of aviation projects, including the design of lighting and electrical systems, fire alarm and suppression systems, and ventilation and air conditioning systems.
DSSR also has experience in the design of fuel systems; information systems, baggage handling systems, and security and surveillance systems for airports.
Additionally, DSSR is familiar with the unique challenges associated with working in operational airports and has the expertise to design systems – especially sectional refurbishments and churn works – in an operational environment where business continuity is a key driver.
