DSSR delivered a full MEP concept design review and site monitoring service for a new five-storey, 85,790 sq ft office building within Bristol Business Park on behalf of the client – from concept design through to contract completion and commissioning stage. The scheme was designed by architects Keppie Design to accommodate a number of operating divisions of the international engineering support services company the Babcock Group. DSSR also carried out a full BREEAM sustainability and assessment consultancy service.

Babcock International – Rosyth

Abstract was appointed by Rosyth Royal Dockyard Ltd, in summer 2015, to construct a new state-of-the-art Engineering Centre, to house 450 staff for the Babcock Marine Sector, as part of their ongoing investment programme on the Fife site. DSSR delivered the full MEP concept design review and site monitoring service on behalf of the client, from concept design through to contract completion and commissioning stage. The project comprised circa 5,600m² of Grade A Office Space with associated parking and landscaping over a rational and bespoke floor plate. The building is multi-disciplined (Defence, Marine, Science & Technology) and is also customer-facing for corporate clients.
