Overview of the Stamp Office refurbishment project
DSSR provided the full MEP CAT A office fit-out design to support the refurbishment of Levels 1, 2 and 7 alongside the refurbishment of the main reception, toilets and the reconfiguration of the basement to provide new and enhanced amenities to encourage active travel choices.
The project was comprised of refurbishment works at The Stamp Office in Edinburgh.
Works involved the Category A Fit-Out of Levels 02 & 07 Office Spaces, Level 01, 02, 04 & 07 Core Areas, Level 04 Reception, and the reconfiguration of a section of the Level 00 Car Park into a Shower Area and Bike Storage Facility.
DSSR was involved from the outset to provide full Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Designs. The architectural principle was for a stripped-back, exposed services aesthetic so the coordination and layout of services was vital as they are fully visible within the spaces.
