Overview of the Arora Hotel project
DSSR was appointed to review the infrastructure of the site and set the employer's requirements for Design & Build tender. However, we were subsequently retained by BAA Lynton to act as the client's advisor to review the D&B contractor's specifications, detailed design and standards for the hotel development.
Advice on all aspects of the development
DSSR’s role included:
- Reviewing the infrastructure of the site to ensure that it was suitable for the development
- Setting the employer’s requirements for the Design & Build tender
- Reviewing the D&B contractor’s specifications, detail design and standards
- Advising the client on all aspects of the development
DSSR’s work on the Hilton London Heathrow Terminal 5 Hotel was a success. The hotel was completed on time and within budget, and it has been praised by both the client and the public. It is a great example of how we our expertise to help clients deliver successful projects.
