DSSR has been working with Arnold Clark for a number of years, completing over 20 different projects together. This new-build project, close to Arnold Clark HQ, is their flagship project ongoing at the moment.

Scheduled for completion by the end of 2022, the site comprises a large Mini/BMW showroom and workshop building, with a separate smart repair/valet building.

The Responsibility

DSSR was responsible for a full complement of MEP building services, covered under the performance specification, with the addition of procurement of utility connection quotations for gas, water, and electricity. We produced a performance spec, SBEM compliance modelling, and procured utility quotes. Upon appointment of the contractor, we also monitored the design through to contract completion.

Arnold Clark is at the forefront of electric vehicle charging provision on their sites. For this project, we were involved in implementing a significant level of renewable technologies, including the production of solar PV outline design for extensive solar PV arrays, and a considerable provision of Electrical Vehicle Charging arrays.
