An Office Day Out to Continue Our Ongoing Commitment to the NHS Forest

As part of our ongoing commitment to the NHS Forest for 2024, we are proud to sponsor the planting of 500 trees for another year. Recently, our colleagues gathered at the Fairfield site of Yorkshire Ambulance Service in York to actively participate in tree planting, pond making, and site clearance activities. Led by Alexis, our dedicated team embraced the hard work and enjoyed being outdoors, feeling a profound sense of pride and accomplishment as we contributed to the site’s enhancement.

By engaging in tree planting activities, we demonstrate our unwavering commitment to environmental causes and sustainability. Our efforts are not only about planting trees; they signify our dedication to making a lasting impact on the Fairfields site, creating a legacy for the community to cherish and enjoy for years to come. We are excited to witness our progress and look forward to returning in the near future to continue our contribution to the NHS Forest, one tree at a time.

Our stats for the day:

  • 25 trees planted including 4 apple and plum trees
  • 100 garlic bulbs planted
  • 100 wildflower plugs planted
  • 3 compost bays created

“Thank you all for a lovely day yesterday. I hope you enjoyed it and thank you for your help!”
