Job Description

We are seeking 2 Apprentices to join the DSSR Team at our Glasgow Office.   The successful candidates will be allocated a Mentor who will be responsible for your on-going training and you will also learn from your colleagues who are experts in their field.

Throughout this programme, you will be developed, trained and coached in the skills and competencies that will help you become a successful Design Engineer.

You will also be provided with the opportunity to network with other Apprentices across the business, attending both social and learning events.

Key Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Design Engineer within DSSR you will gain experience in many of the sectors that we operate in including, Further Education, Healthcare, Law & Order, Defence, Offices, Residential, Retail and Leisure.

Education, Qualifications & Training

To apply for our Design Engineering Apprenticeship Scheme, you should have achieved the following qualifications: 4 – National 5 passes at Grade C or above, including Mathematics, English and two other subjects one of which should be science or technology-based.

Relevant prior experience may also be considered as an alternative to the above.
